Q. I'm curious, why did my kitchen floor grout become so soiled in the first place... It's only few years old?
A. Rarely do tile installers seal grout and when they do, it only lasts for a short period of time.Understand that new grout needs to cure for several days before it can be sealed. Meantime, dirty mop water finds its way into the grout pores
Q. Can you match my existing color of my grout?
A Yes. N.E. Grout is the only company that has numerous color sealers for all sanded and un-sanded types grout. You can have any color you wish. Even under the best conditions, even new grout has different shades. We simply match the color you desire to insure a consistent shade of grout color, our color sealer absorbs into the pores of your grout for a long lasting/uniform finish.
Q. How safe is your product for children as well as animals?
A Our product is a non-toxic acid. It is guaranteed to be environmentally safe.
Q. How long do I have to stay off it so it can dry?
A You can walk on it from 10-12 minutes. However, it takes 4 hours to fully cure by keeping sealed areas dry for 48 hours will insure best results.
Q. How often do you have to clean the grout once it's restored?
A Experts agree, you should clean your floor once a week. We supply you with 1 gallon of our maintenance cleaner(it should last a year before reordering). When cleaning the floor it's important to change your mop water when it appears dirty. Always use a mop to agitate cleaning agent on grout surface. Dry grout with towel or terry cloth. Should any area have dried up surface stains simply spot clean with straight Grout Line Maintenance Cleaner.
Q. How often do you have to reseal the grout after first application?
A Never, if it is properly maintained as suggested.
Q. How much does it cost to have my grout cleaned and color sealed?
A We would have to see the area or areas you would like to have done. An appointment will be set with you to give you a free demo and estimate.
Q. What is your return policy?
A Our Grout Line Colorants are not refundable - But they are returnable for an even exchange for STANDARD COLORS only if you don't like your color selection upon product arrival, Or we will offer an in store credit. Please note that CUSTOM COLORS are not pre bottled products, they are custom made for every individual customer to produce a quality product and are therefore not returnable or refundable.
